The photo that will make me cry in 20 years…

…if not sooner.

They were lying in the grass coloring and making up silly words.

Plenty of giggling to boot.

It almost pained me to press the shutter, as I knew I would come across this photo one day and relive the moment.

I guess that’s why we take these things?

So, er, girlie, I suppose. And, yes, in part it’s why you take them… but not the only one.

In a way, I prefer the second… maybe it’s the stylish polkadots and stripes. Got to love it.

In English, that would be “the reason why”, generally I suppose it’s good to have a subject in your sentences…eeee gad!

        Thanks Greg,

…but we don’t tolerate good grammar on this site.

The reason we take them is good……sorry….I meant it’s good we take them……

Ohh…moving on I also like the 2nd as well. More people in the photo…sorry…gotta go ;-)!!

The second one? I would call it – and I’m trying to be concise – an urban masterpiece.

Had it been taken 40 or 50 years ago by Mary Ellen Mark, it would have little essays written about it and I guarantee you it would be in many compilation books you could buy at places like MOMA or whatever.

When I get around to collecting photos, I’d like to buy a print. If you’ll sell me one. 🙂
