Yeah, it is definitely a bit of an acquired taste–Not something I’d use every day.

It is hard to tweak the stuff without a daylight filter–may try that next. Strangely, everything is reasonably accurate and vibrant, except the greens–Can’t seem to get those right.

      All the best,

Oh, by the way, I forgot to tell you that my M6 is again in Germany (now in Wetzlar)! 😦 The problem with the light leak (which we discussed) appeared again on few photos. So the repair was not successful. Fortunatelly, the repair now is under the guarantee, so I hope that they will find a cause of the light leak… Its quite frustrating when I see that even the manufacturer does not know what to do with that (or maybe they just thought that a mere replacement of few particles without investigating the major cause would fix this).

In the meantime I use my OM-1n, which seems more reliable in this respect. Maybe I should start saving money and buy a brand new mechanical Leica MP… :/

Sorry to hear about your beloved M6! Hopefully they get the problem fixed correctly (or give you a new camera!!)

      Thanks for your comments, M.
