The Ornament

…Then every once in awhile I get one that makes the whole film thing seem worth it.

This one was hard to shoot (she kept moving!!) and process.  Strange light, and odd tones…

But a keeper nonetheless.

I agree…this is simply gorgeous. The playfulness of the snowman dress and reindeer ornament juxtaposed with her concentration and focus make this that much more captivating! Wonderful in every regard.

What did one snowman say to the other? ….
    …Do you smell carrots?

(Not much to say beyond Karen’s comment, hence resort to the foregoing faintly odoriferous but firmly family oriented “funny”.)

      Good one!

Eldest daughter will love it. (we are in the “hilarious” knock-knock-joke phase…)

This one should provide some welcome relief.

      All the best,

Sorry…I had totally missed your comment!
Thanks very much–she is definitely growing up quickly–too quickly in fact; but you already knew that!

Hope you and your family are well.

      All the best,

Yet another photo which is so obviously film. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. People’s capture media preferences are nobody’s business but their own.

But seriously, yes, it is very much a film shot. The strange light and odd tones probably helped!

A friend of mine might lend me his M4 which he hasn’t used for over 10 years. Should be fun. I have a Canon P and ATM that’s my only RF camera. I haven’t touched my Pentax 645 kit yet and I’ve had it for over a year – it was cheap, but it’s a noisy thing.
