The Angel on my Shoulder

ShoulderAngel

I don’t know exactly why I like this photo, but I find myself coming back to it.

I like the tones, and the expression on her face.

I also like the viewer’s connection with her deep eyes.

I get the suggestion that there is an Angel sitting on one shoulder, and…well, you know the rest.

πŸ™‚

Lately she has mostly been the Angel…but she has her days.

(We all do, I guess…)

I hear you Mark (and Luiz). You hit the switch just at the right moment Mark and caught an angel!!

The blue eyes and that background, the happy yet pensive (and a little mischievous) at the same time smile.

    Nice.

WOW!! Really nice Mark. I think the deeper sense of connection in her eyes is a capture of her maturity. She has not only become comfortable enough with you snapping away she has the confidence and maturity to really stop and connect with you (and the camera). Somewhere where innocence combines with confidence.

Oh!,,,,,,and that means boys are sure to follow next πŸ˜‰ ….Good luck with that.

All the best for the Holidays.
    Jason.

Lots of reasons to like this, it’s a beautiful and lively image.

Not for the first time (dangerous to postulate character traits from a few images of isolated instances, I know, but…) she seems to demonstrate quite a bit of self possession. As quiet as her twin is, ED seems pretty comfortable at the center of attention or “on stage”, if you will. (…of course, I have it on good authority she’s also a “knock, knock”, joke aficionado). πŸ˜‰

Have a joyous holiday season; and (in my best Bogie voice) here’s looking at you, kids…

      Thanks Greg–

She’s definitely the “performer” of the group (and the knock-knock joke was a big hit!)

All the best of the season to you and your family as well!
