My New Year’s Photographic Resolutions

…Better late than never, right?

Anyhoo, I made them, so I may as well write them down:

  1. Buy zero gear in 2015.  (heh heh…)
  2. Will you settle for “finish with less gear than I started”?
  3. Learn to develop E6 slide film
  4. Attempt manual indoor flash film photography.
  5. Maintain another project–I’m thinking something along the lines of “The Year in Film

So far I’m on track for 4 out of 5…which isn’t bad at two weeks in.

(EDIT: Oh…and redesign my site.  So I could have, like, 83.333%!)

All the best,

I would substitute ‘use every camera I have a minimum of ten times by the end of the year or sell it / them’ for number two. But I’m a hard nose.
    Good Luck!!

I like the new design. I do miss the original, though, but I think it’s good to change things like this regularly. It’s like a house: it will always be there, but it should be repainted now and then, and with different colour schemes; furniture and wall decorations should change; maybe build a shack out back; etc.

Maybe that banner at the top of the page is the thing I miss most. It’s kind of iconic of this blog. But, like the seasons, I always advocate for healthy change. 😉

      Thanks for noticing, Karim!

I do like the new design, but it is not as customizable as I would like. A banner and some altered menu locations would be nice. I may have to look a little farther.

In any case, I did feel it was time for a change of some sort!

Really like this image Mark. The glass frames and colour rendering along with your sons contemplation….”mmm is that MY dinosaur your playing with?”

Thanks Andy…but it was actually a discussion about whether he was going to eat his broccoli! The follow-up image was actually kind of amusing…
