This shot was all-kindsa-wrong right from the get-go, but I still think the moment is worth hanging onto.

This was actually taken on Portra 400, but the colors were all shonky because the bath was too hot.  (I actually need a better thermometer…)

In any case, I remember the moment distinctly–she shrieked and ran just as I fired the shutter (of course…) I knew as soon as I took it that the focus was way off.

I can still hear her little giggle.

(Besides, this may actually be the only out-of-focus shot I’ve taken this year…)

      I think I may be done developing my own MF color–scanning is such a pain. As much fun as it is, I think the next roll goes to Richard!

        Thanks for the tip–As near as I can tell, if you send in $300 worth of processing (a lot of saving film!!) they will give you $50 off. I have yet to email them directly though…
