Now, that is most interesting! I must be an exception to that rule. 🙂 I took about 1,000 photos with my iPhone at a birthday party last year and I looked carefully through every one. I deliberately waited a couple of months so that when I edited, I could do so with a fresh eye. My final cut was about 125 photos.

But it would be interesting to reflect on this more: a traveller, 20, 30 years ago, would take a few rolls of film and show the prints or slides when they got home. That same person would take hundreds of shots on their phone today, but how many people are going to view them?

I mean, very few people have the time to look at my best photos, never mind my casual (yet occasionally interesting) photos I take while I’m out for a daily or nightly walk.

I do appreciate the thought-provoking post, whatever the reality is. 😉
