Really nice photo Mark. Love the colours and composition.

How do you like the MP over the M6 (apart from obvious flare issues) and Ikon? I held one the other day and really like the feel of it over both of them (not like an M6 tank and seems a slightly nicer build than the Ikon).

      Thanks Andy!

In answer to your question; I have often remarked that an M6 Classic is “basically just like an MP, but with a better rewind knob and advance lever” (assuming, of course, the MP finder upgrade…) but for some ethereal reason, I have always been drawn to the MP itself.

You really can’t go wrong with either camera…both shoot without batteries. The M6 gets you leather covering, the MP gets you true black paint…It’s really just a matter of personal preference.

      Hope you’re well,

This is very similar to one of your elder daughter which has always been one of my favorites of yours. I recall it being called “piking dandelions” or something similar. Somehow It made me think of chasing lightning bugs. This one’s more peppermint swirl ice cream. But each has a lovely freshness and innocence about it. Wonderful memories. Hope all’s well.

You are correct in the similarities…the earlier Dandelion version is still one of my very favorites.

      (Great to hear from you!)

      Thanks Jordan…

Everything seems to play nicely with ISO 50 film; There is really nothing better than shooting it outdoors…and the Daylight balance makes it even better!

      All the best,
