At the urging of our friends Jordan and Joe (see, they are “Made Men” now, because I said “our friends…”) I finally got around to trying some Kodak D76 developer on the Eastman Double-X…

So far, I must say that I like what I see.

This was developed in a 1:1 solution–nice acuity and tonality present.

If you do decide to mix some up, make sure your starting solution is really HOT–solubility is bit of a problem in cool water.

(And if you do get a chance, stop by and check out Jordan’s ongoing work with the Eastman and D76…It is fantastic!)

Well let’s just say I hope Joe and I don’t suffer the same fate as Tommy from Goodfella’s when he was “made.” And thank you for the exposure Mark, I appreciate the kind words.
