Portra is such great film! I take it your trip was to California (Disneyland)? Where did you go besides Anaheim?

      Hey Naomi,

We were mostly in Newport Beach/Newport Coast–Drove down to Disney for the day.

How far are you from there? (We should have made arrangements for coffee!!)

I’ll let you know next time we’re coming down.

Wow. So, so dreamy. Love them. These kind of photos put you in a special place. I’m trying to imagine these are huge, glossy, optical prints.

Here’s how I’d imagine an ad from the ’50s, spoken by a man with a cheery, positive, Midwestern accent:

Going away this winter? Taking the kids? Maybe a trip through California? Wherever you’re going, take an extra roll of Kodak film, like Portra 400. It’s special formulation lets it give you clear, bright pictures during the day – and it’s so sensitive you can even take pictures late into the evening of those long, warm, summer days. Kodak Portra works wonders teamed up with reasonably priced Kodak cameras, or any brand of camera that takes 35mm film. Take Kodak Portra for *your* next vacation. Available in 12 or 24 exposure rolls at your local camera store or Kodak lab.
