That Lomo though…


This is Lomo CN 400 film…which it turns out, is apparently rebranded Ferrania Solaris FG Plus 400.  Now here’s where it gets even more interesting: This was actually shot at ISO 800, which is intriguing because it is cheaper (and seems to fare better…) than actual Lomo 800!

These films seem to be quite sensitive to exposure: under, and you are going to get some grain.  Nonetheless, not altogether bad value for the money.

      It is nice how easily this film color-balances with the correct profile in SilverFast. Anyway, you were wondering if I was ever going to try Ferrania…
