So much for those whine-babies who reject third-party lens manufacturers a priori.
Nice Mark. My first lens was the Tamron 28-70mm on a Canon. Against yhe Canon L the difference was marginal in performance… but much better in value!

This lens is certainly no slouch–better in many respects than the Nikon offering.
The third-party manufacturers have definitely picked up their game–The Sigma ART lenses are probably the best available for the Nikon right now…if only they made an 85 or 135 in the same line!!
