Nah, you know what I love these types of photos. When I show them to Mrs. J she scoffs – but it reminds me of -all- the reasons I love her. I bet the producer understands, she seems very wise 🙂

    Another set of winners. 😉

On a technical note, while I really like #3 very much (which is what really matters), its tonality is a bit… flat. I have to guess it’s a digital file. Which is no bad thing – digital b&w doesn’t need a lot of work to look good. In this particular case, whatever the reason, it doesn’t have depth.

      Hi Karim,

I’m glad you liked the shot (I did too, which is why I posted it!) but am sorry you found it a bit “flat”. In truth, the lighting was *extremely* harsh (which is why I actually took the photo–I thought it highlighted The Producer nicely as the Angel which she is to us). In truth, I revisited the file many times before finally deciding to post it in its current form. Though not ideal or technically flawless, it is still an evocative image which stirs in me a feeling or emotion…and isn’t that what photography is all about?? As such, I really don’t find it “flat”.

      All the best,
