      Hi Steven,

      It is a little quirky, but I think they have finally worked out all of the kinks with Silverfast. Digital ICE still does not work properly (in colour, obviously…) with VueScan, but VueScan is still preferable (and perfectly usable) for B&W.

      All-in-all, it is a slightly more costly option, but definitely a level above the flatbed choices.

    Mark, great stuff, once again. The landscape shot has mood, even though we can’t see much. Love the shots of Baby J as usual. Love the high contrast and texture. These shots look really nice when enlarged.

    Oh, one more thing: I like how you got Baby J’s eyelashes sharp in the bath shot. I don’t know if it’s normal for young kids, but she has the most amazingly long eyelashes I have seen in a long while. 100% natural! 😉
