Isolation

isolation-1

Anyone else feel like this today?

Taken with the Nikon F100 on the 105mm f/1.4E

Being an “E” lens (Electronic aperture) the Nikon F100 cannot actuate the blades.  As such, it can only be shot wide-open…but metering and autofocus work just fine.  Stay tuned for more filmy goodness.

(…and keep the faith friends!)

You know, despite the fact that the scene has a lot of elements, they are partly ordered, and Baby J is really nicely isolated, thanks to the backlighting. Really good shot.

One day I hope you get a chance to print your b&w shots in a darkroom. 🙂
