I was never a fan of t-grain films…and then I pushed acros 100 and got results I liked. Guess I like film sort of gritty. On another note, I really need to find a cheap F100…

I got an F100 cheap a few years ago. But I found nothing special about it and sold it.

I also like gritty b&w, although for some subjects, such as cityscapes, you want fine grain and rich tones.

      Jordan,

An F100 is, by definition, cheap. Probably more expensive to repair these days, than just buy outright…a disposable AF film camera of sorts, if you will.

      😆

(You should be able to find one somewhere for lower than two fiddy…)

That being said, it’s probably one of my favourite film cameras. It gets a bad rap relative to the venerable F6, but I actually find the (fewer) focus points to be more suitably placed. My only complaint is that it cannot be set to leave the leader out on rewind, so you kind of have to pop the back open once it hits Frame “0” and hope for the best.

If you have F-mount lenses of any sort, it is really a no-brainer.

      Good luck!
