      Hi SP1951,

I have ALWAYS loved the square format (still have two Hasselblads…) and have always had a special bond with it. I just could not get used to the “vertical” orientation of the camera, and the fact that it was not an “SLR” per se (different “taking” and “viewing” lenses).

The rendering of the lens, however, is definitely very beautiful.

      Best regards,
      M.

That “rendering” is some of the best I’ve seen. Exquisite image quality.

My favourite of the sample photos, incidentally, is the one with baby J and the tree shadows.

        Thanks very much Peter.

Incidentally, the outdoor shots were taken at f/22 (!!)—(I’ve never shot at f22 before…) and the Baby J photo I quite liked as well; I just wish she was standing in the shadow of the trunk.

        (Oh well…guess you can’t have everything…)

        M.

    I’m so excited, I just can’t hide it…I know, I know, I know, I know it’s a Rollei (that’s how the song goes right)
