Compendium 20 – Who Doesn’t Like Superia??

This is Superia 800, which, to my knowledge, I have never shot with.  (Though I admit, I could certainly be wrong…) That being said, I definitely be orderin’ me some more of THAT.

This is also that crappy ‘ole Canon LTM lens, with a right-proper Kindai/Rayqual adapter…which was not cheap, but certainly lives up to the price.  I am definitely liking the lens a lot more than I should, considering the age and price…

I mean it only has, like, FULL STOPS! (…like what is that??)

Anyway, a lot of randomness here, but I hope you enjoy.

Thanks Peter. It is definitely interesting to me that the “less than optically perfect antique lenses” seem to have a tad more character on film.

Can I say something, are we in the nest …we are in the nest right???

I never use half stops, pretty much always going by full stops 😬😬😬

The ol’ Japanese Lux looks good to my (crappy) eyes as well. What’s the close focus on these, 1m?

      J-Dawg:

That’s the only real downside to this lens (well that, and the fact that I am probably going to have to have it CLA’d…)

It is indeed 1m close-focus (seems like even more, TBH…)

      Now. About this “nest” thing…

Is that like a Bird Box quote or something?

      ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
