Loving the look of this lens. Bravo!

I know we were talking about it recently, but I doubt the Q2 has this much character.

Such a good looking emulsion. Nice perspective, as well. This image has a nice ‘A Day in the Life of’ feel. It would be hard to find a sweeter subject. 🙂

Oh, and one more thing. Shots like this are why the 28mm lens makes so much sense. The 35mm would not allow you frame this wide this close.

Back in the day, compacts with 28mm lenses were sold precisely on those grounds – you can fit more people in the shot at a dinner table. A lot of the time you cannot simply step back.

Mark – is this a Sigma lens, or is there a brand called 7-Art? I’ve been a bit out of the loop!

      Thanks Naomi!

This is the 7Artisans brand of M-mount lenses. They are a lower-priced Chinese manufacturer who are really making a name for themselves lately with the well-made, fairly inexpensive, (surprisingly good!!) lenses that they have been producing.

Thanks, Mark. I knew I had heard of something like that, but couldn’t seem to get the info. Too bad they don’t do Nikon F-mount!
