    Reading Karim’s comment, I can certainly understand where he’s coming from. I too would usually try to get a shot like this with the person in the foreground, close up. But there’s something about the enormous space, the tranquility of the colour palette filling up that space, and the smallness of the figure in the midst of it all that I find quite “lovely”, as Bijan says.

    I hope all of you gentlemen are doing well.

      Thanks Peter—that’s kind of the effect I was going for (the “vastness” rather than the person) so I am glad that you appreciate it.
