Park Night One

Rollei Retro 80S developed in Rodinal (1:50)–which I haven’t used in a while.

These have a very fine, almost “digital-like” grain structure, which I am going to have to try and replicate.  Developed them on the warm side, so perhaps that was it…

Anyone else feel like this today?

Taken with the Nikon F100 on the 105mm f/1.4E

Being an “E” lens (Electronic aperture) the Nikon F100 cannot actuate the blades.  As such, it can only be shot wide-open…but metering and autofocus work just fine.  Stay tuned for more filmy goodness.

(…and keep the faith friends!)

Festivities

As has now become my “special occasion tradition” these were taken on B&W film with a flash.  There are a couple additional from the end of the roll, and the last one basically proves that I was, in fact, there.

Kind of.

(Sweet sweet Neopan in Rodinal…)

Two

So here is an interesting story for you:

These two photos were taken about six months apart.  I had a roll of film in the camera that I actually forgot about.  When I shot the rest of the roll, I assumed it was ISO 400.  (No, I didn’t label it, thank you…)

🙂

When I finally completed it, I realized that it was actually ISO 50, and that the last six pictures were at least 3 stops underexposed.  The worst part is, I couldn’t remember whether the first six pictures were the ones worth saving, or the last six.  As a result, I stand-developed them in Rodinal 1:150 (1 hour) and actually ended up with usable images on both ends of the roll.  Here are two examples–both summer and winter.
